Beverley Cornwell is a photographic artist who loves to experiment and explore the boundaries between observation and imagination. She merges traditional and digital ways of documenting the world she observes around her to examine memory, place and perception. With a background in photography and media technology she creates thoughtful, layered projects that invite curiosity and quiet reflection.

Originally from Yorkshire, Beverley moved to Scotland with her young family after graduating with a First Class honours degree in Photographic Art from Newport University, Wales. She continues to combine her practice of observation, documentation, experimentation, reflection, and a sprinkling of humour, into all her projects while working from her studio in Hawick, Scottish Borders.
